Pointed ballerinas by Christian Louboutin from their Spring 2016 “Nude Collection”
Fashion works fast, ahead of the seasons and the weather. In the world of high-end design reality doesn’t quite fit in, practicality nor price-wise, so why not dream away from the cold winter and pretend to shop for a life in a different reality. There were some beautiful looks for pre-Fall 2016, which I plan to take inspiration from this Spring. From what I gather it’s all about tulle, embroidery and 70’s flowy styles. I skipped more garish patchwork denim and suede looks which are very dominating for 2016, and focused on things I want to paint or take DIY inspiration from.

I feel like tulle, Asian-themes, embroidery and embellishment will be featuring a lot in my wardrobe once the weather warms up. I am really feeling like sewing and creating more clothing. Perhaps a trip to a hardware store will happen for some take on the big ring leather bag by Chloé which has been popping up on the arms of trendy ladies who lunch lately. And our upcoming trip to Hong Kong in February will definitely be aiding the more Asian-inspired looks!
