This Christmas with Gavin visiting we decided that rather than make the typical house from the pre-baked gingerbread you get at the store, we would make an igloo. A candy igloo of course! Here you see the process of the construction, and the secret behind the structure; the bowl. I highly recommend using melted sugar for attaching the parts, it worked like magic! The trick is to keep stirring the sugar while you heat it so it doesn’t burn. We could probably have taken the bowl out as it was definitely rigid enough, but the sugar unfortunatley stuck to the bowl.
