The month of April is precious to me, it is my birthday month (because on the inside I am turning 7 not 27 eek!) I sometimes find it hard thinking of what I want for my birthday, seeing as you tend to buy what you want and what you don’t buy is usually not purchased […]

The Fashion of Gustav Klimt

Gustav Klimt is an artist who’s work has always been very inspirational to me. The patterns, textures and graphic shapes in the paintings perfectly accompany his soft portraits. You can imagine my delight in discovering that the clothing that played such an part of his paintings actually existed! I’ll give you a quick re cap of the story […]
New Years Style
Sainte Maria Illustration Christmas has been and gone, and a post is soon to follow. But first we have to dive right into New Years Eve. This is the highlight event of every person who loves some extra flair to their style. Finally a chance, wherever you are, to poshen up, dress over the top […]
Never the real thing
I like this blouse I got on ebay a while back. It’s really lightweight, scalloped and inspired by 2009 Christopher Kane. Which I loved, so there.
Luella the Lovely
Ok, image heavy post, but how could I resist? Luella Spring 2010 RTW. It’s everything i love, polkadots, velvet on silky material, bows, pastels, 60s, ruffles, peter pan collars, scalloped edges, hearts etc. etc. I definitely need to DIY a huge polka dot bag with a white, plain square clutch and a sharpie!
Powder Power
Whenever I go shopping with my mom she always goes “You and your powder-colours”. Despite the fact that they completely wash me out and do nothing for my figure I just can’t resist them. And look at these adorable outfits I found on various blogs (guessing they’re all from style.com). The muted sparkley hotpants (new […]
These girls, these girls
It’s fun sometimes to imagine the lives of people on Facehunter. They just look so unreal, in the best of ways of course.
Ilustrator’s illusion
Richard Gray is the amazing artist who illustrated these women. I love how powerful they are, they really pull you in with their eyes. I also love how some seem so simple while others are much more detailed, yet it never looks fussy. Great work, that definitely needs to be shared!
A couple of mice
My favorite pair of flats, which i never wear since I don’t want to ruin them. They are awfully cute though.
The coldest ice
Love this picture, and that is pretty much exactly what I wanted to try when I find the perfect swag jewellery on ebay. And I marvel at the photoshop, since as we all know models don’t eat ice cream.
Done for the Day
Today I finally made the skirt I had planned to make out of some fabric my boyfriend bought me in montmarte. It’s a scalloped skirt and I love it to pieces. It was worth all the back achey and persnickity work. The result looks like a candy floss pine cone. Pictures follow when I install […]
